Four finished kennel flyers created in Kyna.

The flyer images on this page were created by artificial intelligence from photographs supplied by the kennels.

🐾 Kyna is open: create your kennel flyer yourself ✨

In March I wrote here about why I built Kyna. I closed by saying we were at the beginning. Today I can add the next sentence: the studio is open, and you can create a flyer for your kennel in it yourself.

Since the summer, the first breeders have been working in it. They created litter announcements, planned litter flyers and stud dog presentations, and they wrote to me about what was missing and where they got stuck. I spent several months refining the studio according to what they told me. Now anyone can come in.

One thing to say plainly: the studio is open in Czech, and the English version is not ready yet. If a Czech interface does not put you off, you can start today. If it does, write to us at ahoj@kyna.cz and we will come back to you.

How it works

There are three steps.

You upload photographs. Your own pictures of your dogs, from the show ring or from the garden. Kyna works with your dogs, not with stock images.

You add the details. Names, titles, health clearances, your kennel name and how to reach you. The flyer generator was designed for the breeding world, so it expects what matters there: CAC, CACIB, hip and elbow scores, planned litter, sire and dam.

You generate the drafts. Within a few minutes you have several variants in front of you. You choose the one that suits your kennel. When you want something changed, you write a note and ask for another round.

Your photograph, or a new scene

For each dog you choose how Kyna should work with it.

Either you use your photograph, and Kyna draws the dog from it, in the same pose. That is the choice for a show stack you want to keep.

Or you let the dog be generated into a new scene and a new pose that follow the mood of the flyer. Its likeness can differ from the photos, which is why the app marks this option as experimental. That helps when a good show picture is missing but you have the dog photographed from several angles.

You can see both approaches on real flyers in the references. Each story shows the input photographs next to the finished result.

You see the result before you pay

This is the part I care about most. With a designer, you pay for work you have not seen yet. In Kyna it is the other way round.

Registration is a name, an e-mail, a password and one question about where you heard of us. You do not enter a payment card. You create and review your drafts with a watermark, and you pay only at the moment you want to download the finished flyer. If none of the drafts convinces you, you pay nothing.

Your account is also the memory of your kennel. Dogs, photographs and unfinished flyers stay saved in it, so you do not start from zero with the next litter.

When something does not fit

I will not claim that every draft comes out right the first time. The generator sometimes gets a detail wrong, and sometimes it needs two or three rounds before it lands on what you had in mind. One change per round works most reliably.

Added in November 2026: Building on this experience, I rewrote Kyna from the inside, and it now handles edits to a drafted flyer far better. More in A month since opening.

If you get stuck, write to ahoj@kyna.cz. I answer the e-mails myself, usually within 24 hours. Every such message also shows me what to fix next. Most of what has changed since the summer came about exactly this way.

Where to start

You will find the studio at app.kyna.cz. If you are planning a litter or want to present your stud dog before a show, this is a good moment to try it.

And once your first flyer is finished, let me know how it went.
