“I recommend it, a great app for making your own breeding flyers. The result is a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to working together again. CHS Wicca Gabreta.”
A mating planned for spring 2027
Eva Kotálová of the Wicca Gabreta kennel breeds Border Collies and Hovawarts. For spring 2027 she is planning a mating of the stud dog Sunset Sonny Hafkins with her breeding bitch Alessia In Your Shadow I Can Shine. She did not hand the flyer to anyone. She made it herself in Kyna.
How the flyer came together
From mid-August to mid-October she kept coming back to this pairing. She started 35 flyers and had 249 drafts generated. She worked with four photos: one in a show stance and one portrait of each dog.
She changed the mood, the heading and the layout of the text. One time an evening pasture with a wooden fence, which she described herself; another time a blue garden, a dark scene with the ČMKU and FCI logos, or golden light. Every flyer shows both dogs twice: full body, drawn from her photos, and as a portrait above them. Underneath are the details breeders decide by: colour, health tests, show results and working tests.
The result
She downloaded fifteen finished flyers. She posted one of them, headed “Plánované krytí - jaro 2027” (planned mating, spring 2027), on her own Facebook profile and wrote under it: “The flyer was made with the Kyna app, I recommend it.” Nobody had asked her to share it.
The same kennel also made a stud dog flyer for Ginkgo and a group portrait of its bitches.
